OSTEOPATHY

Cranial Osteopathy is a refined and subtle type of osteopathic treatment that uses very gentle pressure to promote the release of tension and dysfunction, and to improve motion throughout the body, including the head.

The skull is made up of 26 bones which are all intricately joined together to form joints called sutures which allow very small ranges of motion, the rhythmical movement of the bones and associated tissues is called 'involuntary motion'. Impacts to the head and pelvis, physical traumas and birth strains are thought to block or disrupt this movement.
